Photographic Documentation for Future Projects
The artistic angle will cover pictures that can be used for a decorative, artistic nature. Included in such shots will be the traditional pictures of the dome and outside areas of the school, as well as some of the aesthetic areas in the interior of the school, both the well-known areas and the areas that receive less attention but are nonetheless wonderful pieces of art. Examples of such areas include the auditorium, the tiling in the hallway, interior columns, and the interior of the library. It was decided that the photographer should decide specifically which of these areas can best be represented in the photographs and how that should be done. The repair shots are to emphasize the damaged areas that desperately need attention. Examples of such areas can be found in the interior of the library. Specifically, the areas that we would like to see photographed are as follows:
Area Key/ExplanationArea #1: This area shows some discoloration on the decorative designs that line the wall near the top all around the library. Area #2: This is just another example of the discoloration seen in area #1 Area #3: Refers to the clock itself Area #4: Shows a crack in the wall that was attempted to be repaired Area #5: Shows a crack on the wall with no attempt at being repaired. Area #6: Damage to wall right where the sign that indicates the Reference Section is. Area #7: Damage to the roof from mold that had accumulated (unknown source). Ideas for the library in generalPurchase nice blinds that can be both decorative and serve to allow the lighting in the room to change. The current blinds are static and also not very decorative. Ensure the cleanliness of the gutter that runs along the side of the library on the side of where the SUB is located. When these gutters get cluttered with leaves from the courtyard right outside the SUB (behind the arches at the front of the school), it causes water to gush into the wall of the library when it rains. This has already caused damage to that wall. The gutters need to be periodically inspected and properly cleaned. [Download PDF of report] |
